Tausha Cox
EVENT COORDINATOR
Tausha Cox has been on the staff of Kennedy Heights Arts Center since 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from the Columbus School of Art and Design (2007). With a background in event planning, Tausha was the creator of In Awe Celebrations providing arts-fueled themed parties. She is currently pursuing a Master’s of Art Education from the University of Cincinnati, College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning.
Jeri Deckard Gatch
ARTIST FACILITATOR
Jeri Deckard Gatch is a modern dance teacher, choreographer, and performer with over 20 years of experience. She earned her BS in Kinesiology from Indiana University, and her MFA in Performance and Choreography from Temple University. Currently, Jeri is a dance instructor at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and MamLuft & Co Dance.
She has been commissioned by Miami University (OH), Berea College (KY), and College of Lake County (IL) to guest teach and set new works on their companies; she has worked as a Teaching Artist in Residence through programs by Artlinks, ArtsWave, CPS Arts Integration Project and VSA of Ohio.
Cedric Michael Cox
ARTIST FACILITATOR
Cedric Michael Cox is best known for his paintings and drawings which fall between surrealism and representational abstraction. His work expresses themes ranging from mythical literature to the relationships between the physical body, musical allegories, natural, and man-made landscapes.
Cox received a BFA in Painting from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning. His work has been exhibited in many galleries, including the Contemporary Arts Center, the Carnegie Visual and Performing Arts Center, and Weston Gallery in Cincinnati, as well as the Museum of Science and Industry Chicago, Harlem Fine Art Exhibition, Williamsburg Arts and Historical Center (Brooklyn, NY), National Arts League (Douglaston, NY), and the Robeson Gallery at Pennsylvania State University.
Radha Lakshmi
ARTIST FACILITATOR
Radha Lakshmi is an interdisciplinary ritual community artist whose works of art emerge from ephemeral Mandala/Kolam traditions from Southern India.
Radha received a Bachelor of Fine Art from the Art Academy of Cincinnati and a Masters of Fine Art at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Her artwork has won several awards and is in museum and gallery collections throughout the world. Radha’s art also can be viewed locally in the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Proton Therapy Center and Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute.
June Pfaff Daley
ARTIST FACILITATOR
June Pfaff Daley earned a B.F.A. in Visual Communication Design with a concentration in illustration and a minor in marketing from the University of Dayton.
Her paintings have been displayed in gallery exhibits and she has been featured on the HGTV show “That’s Clever”. June has written several articles for the mixed media magazine, Cloth Paper Scissors. Her art is licensed in a variety of categories and been featured in many books and magazines.
Karen Saunders
ARTIST FACILITATOR
With an MA and BFA in fine art from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Karen Saunders’ passion for art, fashion and performance comes from her experience as a founding member of the Bombshells of Cincinnati. Known for their blonde wigs, sunglasses and extreme fiber art skills, the Bombshells bring energy and meaningful interactions to a variety of events.
